1967 Fall Fair Plans Keep Many People Busy

At a special meeting held at the home of Mrs. W. Livingstone, Women’s Institute members planned to enter the W.I. booth contest in the Fall Fair. They decided upon the items each would enter.
Saturday, August 26, Work Day at the Louis Creek Fall Fair Grounds is the time that all the Fall Fair members will attend to wind up details of the Fair. They will meet at 4 pm.
Queen of the 1967 Fall Fair, Miss Ann Stewart, will be appearing on the afternoon CFCR television show, “Let’s Visit Awhile” at 2 pm on Wednesday, August 30. Appearing with Queen-elect Ann will be Harry Leavitt.
Leading the Fall Fair Parade on Monday, September 4, at the Louis Creek Fairgrounds will be the 1967 Fair Queen Ann Steward, who will sit her horse side saddle. A convertible will follow carrying Queen Ann’s princesses, the Misses Doreen Bradford and Lorna Rawson. The Queen Elect is from Vinsulla, Miss Bradford from Chinook Cove and Miss Rawson of North Kamloops, sponsored by the Twin Valley 4H Lamb Club.
