The North Thompson Star/Journal (now a division of the Black Press Group) has been a part of the North Thompson Valley since 1974. A weekly community newspaper with a strong commitment to the communities it serves the Star/Journal and its staff can be found working with, and for, numerous service organizations throughout the NT Valley. It is thanks to the Star/Journal that the annual Fall Fair and Rodeo in Barriere is able to produce a high quality catalogue and program for our event each year. In 2007 the Star/Journal has also helped us to produce a map of the NT Valley that shows where a number of our area agricultural producers can be found.
