4H Supports Agriplex

Thirty-one members of the Yellowhead 4-H Club stand on the building site for the new North Thompson Agriplex on May 15 as they present a cheque for $4,300 in support of this North Thompson Fall Fair and Rodeo Association project. Yellowhead 4-H had initially announced that they would be earmarking a portion of their annual flower basket sale fundraiser to go towards construction of the building; but at a recent meeting of the Club members voted unanimously to donate their entire profit of $4,300 to the Agriplex. As the young 4-H members passed their large cheque on to the North Thompson Agriplex Project Committee they expressed the Club’s thanks to the community for supporting their 4-H fundraiser again this year, and at the same time said how excited they are to see the new building being constructed.
