When Bernie Kershaw said she wanted to help raise money for the North Thompson Agriplex she meant it. Not only has she donated the income from all of her hot dog sales made during last weekend’s Celebration of the Arts held at Bernie’s Barr K Treats property; but now Bernie and her family will be hosting a giant North Thompson Agriplex Flea Market on Saturday, July 16, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on that same property.

Bernie says all proceeds will go to construction of the Agriplex, and she encourages people to donate items to be sold, or to rent their own flea market spot for $5.

Folks are asked to bring their own table, and be prepared for a fun day of bargains and socializing. The plan is to make this a large event with tables from all through the Valley enjoying the highway exposure that will draw in buyers.

“We also have a 1969 Chevy one ton flat deck truck, in running condition, donated by the original owner, Bob Peters,” said Bernie, “Best offer will be accepted on this truck, and the money will go to the Agriplex.”
