Members of the North Thompson Fall Fair and Rodeo Association gathered on Nov. 12 for their annual general meeting and potluck supper, with a good number in attendance. Those who attended reported the number of “yummy” desserts that turned up “truly appeased even the toughest sweet tooth”.

History was made in Barriere the weekend of September 23 - 26 when the Provincial Winter Fair (PWF) held its 73rd annual event in the newly constructed North Thompson Agriplex.
NT Agriplex arrives

It’s here! The MSC manufactured steel building that will be the North Thompson Agriplex arrived in Barriere last week.
“This is really a great moment,” said NT Fall Fair and Rodeo rep Jill Hayward, “We are seeing our vision of a 30,000 square foot multi use building become a reality. It can’t get much more exciting than that.”

2011 Fall Fair announces plans for Agriplex

The North Thompson Fall Fair and Rodeo Association (NTFFRA) is moving forward with plans to build a multipurpose Agriplex building on their Dunn Lake Road property in Barriere. Last week a committee of the NTFFRA, and a number of area stakeholders and volunteers, joined together for an informal meeting to launch the Agriplex Project Committee and take the first steps towards construction.
