In September 2006 the much-anticipated first issue of Thompson Life Magazine rolled off the presses in Kamloops. Within it's pages thought provoking editorial, and stacks of stunning photography (all about Kamloops and the surrounding areas) created an instant hit with readers and numerous "congratulations" to publisher Andrea Byrne.

The North Thompson Star/Journal (now a division of the Black Press Group) has been a part of the North Thompson Valley since 1974. A weekly community newspaper with a strong commitment to the communities it serves the Star/Journal and its staff can be found working with, and for, numerous service organizations throughout the NT Valley.
